Our Founder
Smt. Kanthi Shetty, originally from Udupi district, embodies a deep commitment to social service. A distinguished businesswoman and dedicated social worker, she has been serving as the Managing Director of Aircom Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a telecom company, for the past 24 years. Additionally, she is the Vice-President of Bangalore Bunts Sangha, contributing to various committees within the association.
During her tenure with the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, she played a crucial role in creating job opportunities for 796 Kannadigas. As a member of the Tulu Sahitya Akademi, she is passionately working towards the establishment of a Tulu Bhavan in Bangalore for her Tulu community.
Her remarkable service has been widely recognized, earning her numerous awards, including the Aryabhata International Award, Nari Shakti Award, Corona Warriors Of India Award, Samaja Seva Ratna Award, and Women’s Warrior Award.
I have faced significant challenges and did not receive the support I needed. Driven to ensure my children would not experience the same hardships, I turned my life around. I believe every breadwinner deserves such an opportunity. This belief fueled my commitment to helping those in need and those striving to overcome difficulties. My goal is to ensure every call for help is heard and addressed.
No one should endure helplessness through no fault of their own. In India, with its diverse population and many willing to assist, my mission is to bridge the gap, providing support and opportunities for those in distress to improve their lives.”

Namma Kuteera was founded in 2012 with the main goal to combat poverty and animal abuse. We partner with local peacebuilders across India to enhance environmental sustainability and human well-being.
Founded by Mrs. Kanthi Shetty and Lipika Hegde, the organisation was formalised as a response to the pandemic, accelerating their long-standing commitment to societal improvement.
We are dedicated to providing opportunities for happiness and well-being for all.
In addition to our core mission, we are dedicated to improving the environment through effective waste management and extensive tree planting. Our goal is to leave future generations with a healthier, cleaner planet.
We also emphasize the importance of kindness, a small but powerful act. In today’s fast-paced world, a lack of awareness about others’ struggles can impede progress. We aim to ensure every voice is heard and every helping hand is extended, fostering a community where compassion and support thrive.
